Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actress known for her performances in the movies Beta Saajan as well as Hum Aapke Haiin Koun..! The actress began her career as an actress in the late 1980s. The actress became popular for the film Tezaab starring the veteran actor Anil Kooor. She next appeared in the film Dil where she was on screen alongside Aamir Khan. As a child she began learning at an early stage. She started acting when an infant and was struggling through a couple of years since the majority of her first films failed. Then she found her feet and became one of the top actors on the Indian film industry. The actress took a hiatus from her profession after her wedding before returning to the world of entertainment. In recent years, Dixit played a significant role in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit was awarded fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which, eight were awarded. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. Her reputation also includes for her social activism.
